Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

Troy, Madison County (June 1992)

A 40’ diameter ring with a 5’ diameter standing center appeared in same field near the same area as a circle that appeared in 1991. W.C. Levengood noted increased cell wall pits in the formation plants, and the cells for formation plants increased in size by about 50%; he also noted a ‘rippling’ effect on the leaves of the plants. Two ‘less-defined’ circles of 9’ and 24’ were found ‘nearby’. The circles were found flattened from the center outward, although the centers still had 6’ tall plants standing unaffected (one reportedly still held a bird’s nest). The larger circles were 192’ apart.

Eyewitness report only.
